Megan and I went to the Oregon coast this weekend.
In just over a week I’m abandoning my apartment in Portland, flying to San Francisco, and starting a job I’m incredibly excited about, but not quite able to publicly talk about. A few weeks later I’ll fly back to Portland, pack up my belongings and actually move to San Francisco.
The job, the city, everything is exciting. I’m sad to leave Portland and the amazing people I’ve met here over the past three years. I look forward to being the mayor of San Francisco in the next six to eight months. Your ass is mine, Lee.
Last week I did this.
This place was closing so we didn’t end up eating there, but luckily I snapped a pic of a monster in a casual environment. Equality!
Trying to find toothpaste.
Typhoon at the Ecotrust building, Portland Pearl.
Megan took this awesome photo of my cousin hiding on a hill eating a brownie the size of his head.
Modern Family
I went to central Oregon for a little fifteen-year-past-due family reunion over the weekend. It’s pretty there and I obtained a sun burn.
Stumptown isn’t cool any more so I’m picking up some beans as an inverted hipster power play.
Followers of Did you fucking hear… you may have noticed the site and feeds went silent for a couple of months. Originally we planned the site as a way to push pop-culture news stories down your throats with funny, inane headlines. We did it at a rapid pace and burned out almost instantly.
We’ve decided to make Did you fucking hear… a source for things that we at CLXVI find interesting or noteworthy, plain as that. Stories stay up longer, the information is arguably meaningful, and you might actually want to pay attention.
Everything is automatically posted to Twitter and we have a Facebook Page as well which is the best place to connect with us. As always, feel free to send in a tip if you’d like, you’ll be credited if we run your story.
