I know nothing about cars or car companies. Actually, that’s not completely true, when I purchased my one-year-old Saturn Ion three years ago I actually knew substantially less than I presently do.
Now I know that is possible to engineer a car that thinks there is a security threat and locks down the ignition when it rains or is somewhat cold outside. I know that this is some sort of wacky problem with the ignition switch, I know that it’s a common problem among other 200x Saturn Ions and I know that it is expensive to fix. I also know that is somehow logical to build a car with automatic–but not remote–locks and manual window actuation. Also: center dashboard.
With this in mind it greatly surprises me that no one actually wants to buy Saturn and that the brand will cease to exist shortly. Here I was thinking that GM was a rock solid company.
I hope I can trade my car in for a toaster or a comparable small electronic appliance.
